Banooba is back in the studio working hard on what will be their third studio album and first with singer Jason Murden. Producing the album are Steve Haigler (The Pixies, Fuel, Skid Row) and Mike Watts (Saliva, Adelita's Way) of VuDu Studios. While an official release date has yet to be set, the guys are hoping to have it out some time in late winter/early spring.

The Great South Bay Music Festival is the largest three day, "American Themed" music, art & cultural family event on Long Island. Featuring over 45 musical artists on 3 stages, and presenting top name, as well as local up & coming artists in contemporary & classic rock, jazz, jam-band, country, folk, zydeco, funk and all types of American music.

Ladies and Gentlemen. We would like to take this time to introduce the newest member of Banooba, Jason Murden.

We are extremely excited about this collaboration. Jason joined us for our yearly pilgrimage to St. Croix after only playing together for 8 weeks. In that time we have managed to write 4 new tunes and get down some of the Banooba Classics. Check out the video below of "Someday" one of the new tunes that we performed at Club 54.
